Chesterfield Associates, Inc. was formed in 1968.
The Company is privately owned by its President,
E. Davies Allan, who resides in Westport Island,Maine.

The Company is primarily a marine contractor providing a large array of services in excavation, drainage and crane services. Some of our more prominent clients include the U.S. Coast Guard, the National Park Service, New York State, Nassau & Suffolk County and many other mid-Atlantic states, counties and municipalities in addition to a large base of private clients. At its headquarters location in Westhampton Beach, New York, Chesterfield maintains a fleet of heavy equipment and construction vehicles in its own maintenance facilities on over 16 acres of industrial space.

Chesterfield also has a branch office in Westport Island, Maine. The Company is one of the largest non-union contractors on Long Island where it employs some forty people. In 2002 the Company had over $8 million in sales. Chesterfield is a member in good standing with Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc.
